A nd the guardrooms or lodges of the east gateway were three on this side and three on that side; the three were the same size, and the posts or jambs were the same size on either side.

أمّا الحُجُراتُ الَّتِي فِي مَمَرِّ البَوّابَةِ الشَّرقِيَّةِ، فَهِيَ ثَلاثُ حُجُراتٍ عَلَى كُلِّ جانِبٍ مِنَ جانِبَيِّ المَمَرِّ. وَكانَتْ لِجَميعِ الحُجُراتِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها، وَلِجُدرانِها الجّانِبِيَّةِ المَقايِيسُ نَفسُها فِي كُلِّ اتِّجاهٍ.
