N ow this is the copy of the decree which King Artaxerxes gave to Ezra the priest, the scribe, learned in the words of the commandments of the Lord and His statutes to Israel:

Haddaba kanu waa naqilkii warqaddii uu Boqor Artaxshasta siiyey Cesraa oo ahaa wadaadkii iyo karraanigii kaasoo ahaa karraanigii erayadii amarrada Rabbiga iyo qaynuunnadiisii uu reer binu Israa'iil siiyey.
