N ow this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even the scribe of the words of the commandments of Jehovah, and of his statutes to Israel:

Haddaba kanu waa naqilkii warqaddii uu Boqor Artaxshasta siiyey Cesraa oo ahaa wadaadkii iyo karraanigii kaasoo ahaa karraanigii erayadii amarrada Rabbiga iyo qaynuunnadiisii uu reer binu Israa'iil siiyey.
