T hen David spoke to the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their relatives the singers, with instruments of music, harps, lyres, loud-sounding cymbals, to raise sounds of joy.

Davide ordinò ai capi dei Leviti che chiamassero i loro fratelli cantori a prestare servizio con i loro strumenti musicali, saltèri, cetre e cembali, da cui trarre suoni vigorosi, per cantare in segno di gioia.
