“ Let there be a treaty between you and me, as between my father and your father. Behold, I have sent you a present of silver and gold; go, break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel so that he will withdraw from me.”

„Să fie un legământ între mine şi tine, aşa cum a fost între tatăl meu şi tatăl tău. Iată, îţi trimit un dar de argint şi de aur! Du-te deci şi rupe legământul tău cu Başa, regele lui Israel, ca el să se retragă dinaintea mea.“
