T here is a covenant between me and thee and between my father and thy father; behold, I have sent unto thee a bribe of silver and gold; come and break thy covenant with Baasha, king of Israel, that he may depart from me.

„Să fie un legământ între mine şi tine, aşa cum a fost între tatăl meu şi tatăl tău. Iată, îţi trimit un dar de argint şi de aur! Du-te deci şi rupe legământul tău cu Başa, regele lui Israel, ca el să se retragă dinaintea mea.“
