Genesis 38:18 ~ Gênesis 38:18

H e said, “What pledge shall I give you?” And she said, “ Your seal and your cord, and your staff that is in your hand.” So he gave them to her and went in to her, and she conceived by him.

Então ele respondeu: Que penhor é o que te darei? Disse ela: O teu selo com a corda, e o cajado que está em tua mão. Ele, pois, lhos deu, e esteve com ela, e ela concebeu dele.
