H e said, “Take now your son, your only son, whom you love, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I will tell you.”

Dumnezeu i-a spus: – Ia-l pe fiul tău Isaac, pe singurul tău fiu, fiul pe care-l iubeşti, du-te în ţinutul Moria şi jertfeşte-l acolo ca ardere de tot pe unul dintre munţii despre care îţi voi spune.
