U i atu hoki ki nga rangi onamata, o mua i a koe, o te ra i hanga ai e te Atua te tangata ki runga ki te whenua, i tetahi pito o te rangi paku noa ki tetahi pito o te rangi, i puta mai ranei tetahi mea hei rite mo tenei mea te nui, i rangona rane i he rite ki tenei?

`For, ask, I pray thee, at the former days which have been before thee, from the day that God prepared man on the earth, and from the end of the heavens even unto the end of the heavens, whether there hath been as this great thing -- or hath been heard like it?
