N a kei te whangai ahau i nga hipi e patua ana, i nga mea iti ano o te kahui. I tikina ano e ahau etahi tokotoko e rua moku, tapa iho e ahau tetahi ko Ataahua, tetahi tapa iho e ahau, ko nga Paihere; na kei te whangai ahau i nga hipi.

So I took care of the flock that was to be killed, and those of the flock who suffered. I took two walking sticks. One I called Favor, and the other I called Agreement. I took care of the flock.
