N a ka meinga ano hoki tenei e ahau ki a koutou; ka meinga e ahau hei rangatira mo koutou te pawera, te kohi, me te kirika, hei ngau i nga kanohi, hei whakapouri i te ngakau: a ka maumau ta koutou rui i a koutou purapura; no te mea ka kainga e o koutou hoariri.

I will do this: I will appoint over you terror (trembling, trouble), even consumption and fever that consume and waste the eyes and make the life pine away. You shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
