H ei tikanga pumau ano tenei ma koutou: i te whitu o nga marama, i te tekau o nga ra o te marama, me whakapouri o koutou wairua, kaua rawa tetahi mahi e mahia, e te tangata whenua, e te manene ranei i roto i a koutou:

¶ Esto tendréis por estatuto perpetuo: En el mes séptimo, a los diez del mes, afligiréis vuestras almas, y ninguna obra haréis, ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros.
