W er da glaubt an den Sohn Gottes, der hat solches Zeugnis bei sich. Wer Gott nicht glaubt, der macht ihn zum Lügner; denn er glaubt nicht dem Zeugnis, das Gott zeugt von seinem Sohn.

He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony within himself. He who does not believe God has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son.
