U nd Josua machte Frieden mit ihnen und richtete einen Bund mit ihnen auf, daß sie leben bleiben sollten. Und die Obersten der Gemeinde schwuren ihnen.

Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them.
