A ssim Josué fez paz com eles; também fez um pacto com eles, prometendo poupar-lhes a vida; e os príncipes da congregação lhes prestaram juramento.

Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them.
