A lso schlug Josua alles Land auf dem Gebirge und gegen Mittag und in den Gründen und an den Abhängen mit allen ihren Königen und ließ niemand übrigbleiben und verbannte alles, was Odem hatte, wie der HERR, der Gott Israels, geboten hatte.

So Joshua smote all the country of the hills and of the Negev and of the vale and of the springs and all their kings; he left no one remaining, but utterly destroyed all that breathed, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded.
