Roemer 1:21 ~ Romans 1:21

d ieweil sie wußten, daß ein Gott ist, und haben ihn nicht gepriesen als einen Gott noch ihm gedankt, sondern sind in ihrem Dichten eitel geworden, und ihr unverständiges Herz ist verfinstert.

because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
