I ch bin der gute Hirte. Der gute Hirte läßt sein Leben für seine Schafe. Der Mietling aber, der nicht Hirte ist, des die Schafe nicht eigen sind, sieht den Wolf kommen und verläßt die Schafe und flieht; und der Wolf erhascht und zerstreut die Schafe.

and the hireling, and not being a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, doth behold the wolf coming, and doth leave the sheep, and doth flee; and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep;
