D enn siehe, ich will ihnen befehlen, spricht der HERR, und will sie wieder vor diese Stadt bringen, und sollen wider sie streiten und sie gewinnen und mit Feuer verbrennen; und ich will die Städte Juda's verwüsten, daß niemand mehr da wohnen soll.

Lo, I am commanding -- an affirmation of Jehovah -- and have brought them back unto this city, and they have fought against it, and captured it, and burned it with fire, and the cities of Judah I do make a desolation -- without inhabitant.'
