U nd Nehemia, der da ist der Landpfleger, und Esra, der Priester, der Schriftgelehrte, und die Leviten, die alles Volk aufmerken machten sprachen zum Volk: Dieser Tag ist heilig dem HERRN, eurem Gott; darum seid nicht traurig und weint nicht! Denn alles Volk weinte, da sie die Worte des Gesetzes hörten.

¶ And Nehemiah, the Tirshatha, and Ezra, the priest and scribe, and the Levites that caused the people to be attentive, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; do not mourn nor weep. For all the people wept when they heard the words of the law.
