Z weiunddreißig Jahre alt war er, da er König ward, und regierte acht Jahre zu Jerusalem und wandelte, daß es nicht fein war. Und sie begruben ihn in der Stadt Davids, aber nicht in der Könige Gräbern.

Thirty-two years old was Jehoram when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being wanted. Yet they buried him in the City of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.
