L e quatrième ange sonna de la trompette. Et le tiers du soleil fut frappé, et le tiers de la lune, et le tiers des étoiles, afin que le tiers en fût obscurci, et que le jour perdît un tiers de sa clarté, et la nuit de même.

Then the fourth angel blew trumpet, and a third of the sun was smitten, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened, and a third of the daylight was withdrawn, and likewise a third of the night was kept from shining.
