A ussitôt qu'il eut étendu sa main, les hommes en embuscade sortirent précipitamment du lieu où ils étaient; ils pénétrèrent dans la ville, la prirent, et se hâtèrent d'y mettre le feu.

The men in the ambush arose quickly out of their place and ran when he stretched out his hand; and they entered the city and took it, and then hastened and set it afire.
