É lie lui dit: Élisée, reste ici, je te prie, car l'Éternel m'envoie à Jéricho. Il répondit: L'Éternel est vivant et ton âme est vivante! je ne te quitterai point. Et ils arrivèrent à Jéricho.

And Elijah saith to him, `Elisha, abide, I pray thee, here, for Jehovah hath sent me to Jericho;' and he saith, `Jehovah liveth, and thy soul liveth, if I leave thee;' and they come in to Jericho.
