I l giorno dopo gli abitanti di Ashdod si alzarono presto, ed ecco Dagon era caduto con la faccia a terra davanti all'arca dell'Eterno. Così presero Dagon e lo rimisero al suo posto.

And when they of Ashdod arose early the next day, behold, Dagon had fallen on his face to the ground before the ark of Jehovah. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
