L a cosa irritò grandemente Saul e quelle parole gli dispiacquero, e disse: «A Davide ne hanno attribuito diecimila e a me ne hanno attribuito solo mille. Ora non gli manca altro che il regno!».

And Saul was very wroth, and that saying was evil in his sight; and he said, They have ascribed to David ten thousands, but to me they have ascribed the thousands; and is there more for him but the kingdom?
