S ali sulla vetta de Pisgah, volgi lo sguardo a ovest, a nord, a sud e a est e contempla coi tuoi occhi, perché tu non passerai questo Giordano.

Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes; for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.
