I o ve lo dissi, ma voi non mi deste ascolto; anzi vi ribellaste all'ordine dell'Eterno, vi comportaste presuntuosamente e saliste verso la regione montuosa.

So I spoke to you, and you didn’t listen; but you rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill country.
