P erciò ho ritenuto necessario esortare i fratelli di venire da voi prima del tempo, per far preparare in anticipo la vostra offerta precedentemente promessa perché essa sia pronta come dono di generosità e non di avarizia.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.
