P ortanto, julguei necessário exortar estes irmãos que fossem adiante ter convosco, e preparassem de antemão a vossa beneficência, já há tempos prometida, para que a mesma esteja pronta como beneficência e não como por extorsão.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.
