Q uelli sulla roccia sono coloro che, quando ascoltano, ricevono la parola con gioia; costoro però non hanno radice, credono per un certo tempo, ma al momento della prova, si tirano indietro.

And those upon the rock who, when they hear, receive and welcome it with joy; but these have no root. They believe for a while, and in time of trial and temptation fall away (withdraw and stand aloof).
