" L'Eterno è lento all'ira e grande in misericordia; egli perdona l'iniquità e il peccato, ma non lascia impunito il colpevole, punendo l'iniquità dei padri sui figli, fino alla terza e alla quarta generazione".

The Lord is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
