D avanti a lui un fuoco divora e dietro a lui brucia una fiamma. Davanti a lui il paese è come il giardino dell'Eden; e dietro a lui è un deserto desolato; sí, nulla gli sfugge.

A fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yes, and none has escaped.
