C osí noi abbiamo ubbidito alla voce di Jehonadab, figlio di Rekab, nostro padre, in tutto ciò che ci ha comandato: di non bere vino per tutta la nostra vita tanto noi che le nostre mogli, i nostri figli e le nostre figlie;

We have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he told us. We, our wives, our sons, and our daughters, never drink wine.
