C osí ho detto in cuor mio: «La stessa sorte che tocca allo stolto toccherà anche a me. A che pro dunque essere stato piú saggio?». Perciò dissi in cuor mio: «Anche questo è vanità».

Then I said to myself, “ As is the fate of the fool, it will also befall me. Why then have I been extremely wise?” So I said to myself, “This too is vanity.”
