M a la regina Vashti rifiutò di venire secondo l'ordine del re trasmessole per mezzo degli eunuchi; il re ne fu irritatissimo e l'ira si accese dentro di lui.

and the queen Vashti refuseth to come in at the word of the king that by the hand of the eunuchs, and the king is very wroth, and his fury hath burned in him.
