E ssi eseguivano il servizio del loro DIO e il servizio della purificazione, assieme ai cantori e ai portinai, secondo l'ordine di Davide e di Salomone, suo figlio.

They did the work of their God and the work of making everything clean from sin, together with the singers and the gate-keepers. They did as David and his son Solomon had told them.
