I sacerdoti li scannarono e ne offrirono il sangue sull'altare come sacrificio per il peccato, in espiazione, per tutto Israele, perché il re aveva ordinato di offrire l'olocausto e il sacrificio per il peccato, per tutto Israele.

And the religious leaders killed them and gave a sin gift with their blood, to pay for the sins of all Israel. For the king said that the burnt gift and the sin gift should be made for all Israel.
