T uttavia l'Eterno, il DIO d'Israele, ha scelto me fra tutta la casa di mio padre, perché divenissi re d'Israele per sempre. Egli infatti ha scelto Giuda come principe e nella casa di Giuda la casa di mio padre e tra i figli di mio padre gli è piaciuto di fare me re di tutto Israele.

However, the Lord, the God of Israel, chose me before all my father’s house to be king over Israel forever. For He chose Judah to be the ruler; and of the house of Judah he chose the house of my father; and among the sons of my father He was pleased to make me king over all Israel;
