Q uindi Davide vi costruí un altare all'Eterno, offrí olocausti e sacrifici di ringraziamento e invocò l'Eterno, che gli rispose con il fuoco, che discese dal cielo sull'altare dell'olocausto.


Then David built an altar there to the Lord. He gave burnt gifts and peace gifts, and he called to the Lord. The Lord answered him with fire from heaven on the altar of burnt gifts.
