P oi prese il mantello di Elia che gli era caduto di dosso, percosse le acque e disse: «Dov'è l'Eterno, il DIO di Elia?». Quando anch'egli ebbe percosso le acque, queste si divisero di qua e di là ed Eliseo passò.

and he taketh the robe of Elijah that fell from off him, and smiteth the waters, and saith, `Where Jehovah, God of Elijah -- even He?' and he smiteth the waters, and they are halved, hither and thither, and Elisha passeth over.
