P oi collocò le verghe che aveva scortecciate, in vista delle pecore nei trogoli, cioè negli abbeveratoi, dove le greggi venivano a bere; e gli animali entravano in calore quando venivano a bere.

He took these sticks which he had cut and set them in front of the flocks, in the place where the flocks came to drink. And the animals mated when they came to drink.
