P ero vosotros habéis rechazado hoy a vuestro Dios, que os libra de todas vuestras calamidades y vuestras angustias, y habéis dicho: “No, sino pon un rey sobre nosotros.” Ahora pues, presentaos delante del Señor por vuestras tribus y por vuestras familias.

and ye to-day have rejected your God, who Himself your saviour out of all your evils and your distresses, and ye say, `Nay, but -- a king thou dost set over us; and now, station yourselves before Jehovah, by your tribes, and by your thousands.'
