A ll the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.

toţi războinicii, s-au sculat, au călătorit toată noaptea şi au luat trupul lui Saul şi trupurile fiilor săi de pe zidul cetăţii Bet-Şan. S-au întors apoi la Iabeş şi le-au ars acolo.
