A ll the valiant men arose and went all night, and they took the bodies of Saul and his sons from the wall of Beth-shan and came to Jabesh and cremated them there.

toţi războinicii, s-au sculat, au călătorit toată noaptea şi au luat trupul lui Saul şi trupurile fiilor săi de pe zidul cetăţii Bet-Şan. S-au întors apoi la Iabeş şi le-au ars acolo.
