A nd so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

وَكُلَّما زَرَعَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ مَحاصِيلَ، كانَ بَنُو مِدْيانَ وَالعَمالِقَةُ وَالشَّرْقِيُّونَ يَصْعَدُونَ لِلهُجُومِ عَلَيهِمْ.
