Deuteronomy 9:18 ~ Deuteronomio 9:18

A nd I fell down before the Lord, as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which ye sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

Y me postré delante del Señor como al principio, por cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; no comí pan ni bebí agua, a causa de todo el pecado que habíais cometido al hacer lo malo ante los ojos del Señor, provocándole a ira.
