A nd it shall be when the Lord shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

Vậy khi nào Đức Giê-hô-va đưa ngươi vào bờ cõi xứ dân Ca-na-an, dân Hê-tít, dân A-mô-rít, dân Hê-vít, và dân Giê-bu-sít rồi, là một xứ đượm sữa và mật, và là xứ Ngài đã thề cùng tổ phụ sẽ ban cho ngươi, thì đến trong tháng nầy hãy giữ lễ thánh đó.
