A nd it shall be, when Jehovah shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Amorite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

Vậy khi nào Đức Giê-hô-va đưa ngươi vào bờ cõi xứ dân Ca-na-an, dân Hê-tít, dân A-mô-rít, dân Hê-vít, và dân Giê-bu-sít rồi, là một xứ đượm sữa và mật, và là xứ Ngài đã thề cùng tổ phụ sẽ ban cho ngươi, thì đến trong tháng nầy hãy giữ lễ thánh đó.
