A nd the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

وَرَحَلَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ مِنْ مَدِينَةِ رَعَمْسِيسَ إلَى مَدِينَةِ سُكُّوتَ. كانَ هُناكَ نَحْوُ سِتِّ مِئَةِ ألفِ رَجُلٍ عَدا الأطفالِ.
